U.S. Army South sponsors poster contest

U.S. Army South is sponsoring a poster contest through Feb. 28 for all members of Army South Headquarters and their family members.

Posters should be creative and employ images that reflect the command’s unique mission and areas of responsibility—Central America, South America and the Caribbean.  Any medium may be used to create the poster including computer graphics (using Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft PowerPoint etc.) or traditional media (illustrations, prints, acrylic/tempera, watercolors etc.) but all designs need to be submitted as an electronic file.  Additionally, copyrighted material may not be used.

All submissions become the property of Army South and Army South reserves the right to alter poster designs.  Files may be requested for computer-generated posters.  Submissions must include contact information.

A $100 gift card will be awarded to the first prize winner.  Second and third place winners will also receive prizes.  Winners will be selected March 13.

Posters will be judged on creativity, appearance and relevance to Army South and its mission.

Submit posters electronically to usarmy.jbsa.arsouth.mbx.pao@mail.mil.
