BOGOTA, Colombia - (Left to right) Chief Master Sgt. James E. Clark, U.S. Air Forces Southern command chief, Command Sgt. Maj. Trevor C. Walker, U.S. Army South command sergeant major, Maj. Gen. Daniel R. Walrath, U.S. Army South commander, and Maj. Gen. Barry Cornish, Air Forces Southern commander, conduct a lunch meeting in Bogota, Colombia, Oct. 7. The leaders of two U.S. Southern Command’s service component commands, who traveled separately to Colombia to reinforce their commitment to the region, increase collaboration, enhance interoperability, and assist in building partner nation capacity with their respective Colombian counterparts, made time in their schedules to engage with each other in person – an infrequent opportunity due to COVID-19. U.S. Army South is part of a multinational and whole-of-government team working to advance security, governance, and economic opportunity in Central and South America and the Caribbean.
