Fort Sam Houston Military and Family Readiness Center

The Fort Sam Houston Military and Family Readiness Center provides a full range of programs and services. A major function is linking Soldiers and their families with the right resources to meet their specific needs. They offer a variety of trainings, workshops, and one-on-one consultations to support individuals, families, and leadership with programs that strengthen our communities and encourage self-sufficiency. Some of their programs include the Exceptional Family Member Program, Relocation Assistance, Financial Readiness Assistance, Employment Readiness and Military and Family Life Counselors.

Vogel Resiliency Center

The Vogel Resiliency Center provides health and wellness programs for the Joint Base San Antonio community. They serve Active Duty & Dependents, Retirees, DoD Civilian Employees, Guard and Reserve members.

Exceptional Family Member Program

The Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP) is a DOD-mandated enrollment program designed to support individual, family and unit readiness. EFMP provides comprehensive support to Family members with special needs by taking an all-inclusive approach to coordinate military and civilian community, educational, medical, housing, and personnel services to help service members and their families with special needs.
