KELLY AIR FORCE BASE, Texas –
Army South personnel learn pallet loading and securing at Kelly Air Force Base Sept. 14 as part of the Army South Contingency Command Post during a level II deployment readiness exercise. At any time, an incident could occur in the U.S. Southern Command area of responsibility, which requires the deployment of the ARSOUTH CCP to provide a command and control node or to form the nucleus of a joint task force when directed. Readiness is Army South’s first priority – ensuring that our Soldiers have the tools and training they need to be lethal and ready to fight and win when called upon in support of global operations.
