1SFAB meets Colombian Pres. Duque during ceremony

Security Force Assistance advisors assigned to the 1st Security Force Assistance Brigade attend the activation ceremony for the newest Colombian Counter Narcotics Trans-National Threats Division, CONAT, at the request of the unit’s commander Brig. Gen. Juan Correa in Tolemaida, Colombia, Feb. 26. Colombian President Dr. Ivan Duque Marquez officiated the ceremony and subsequently met with the advisors to discuss ongoing partnership initiatives and future opportunities. The 1st SFAB, working alongside their Colombian counterparts strengthens existing regional partnerships and fosters a deeper professional and shared understanding of common challenges in the Western Hemisphere.
