Major General Marco Antonio Marín Saldaña is from Peruvian Army, currently serves as the Deputy Commanding General-Interoperability at US Army South. Throughout his career he has served in Infantry, Counterterrorist and Special Operations units in the emergency zone of his country, actively participating in the National Pacification of Peru, being decorated by the Joint Command of the Armed Forces with the Medal of Merit, and distinguished with the “War Cross of Valor” Medal for his direct participation in combat operations against terrorism, he has notable professional qualities, strategic leadership capacity and personal virtues; he has the following university academic training: Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Military Sciences, Master's Degree in National Defense Development and Doctoral Degree in Educational Sciences; he is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in International Relations at Saint Mary's University of Texas. He has participated in the Panamax 2024 as Senior Leadership.
